Bihar STET Application Fee 2026
The examination fee depends on the category of the candidate and whether they are applying for one paper or both papers. ◾ For Paper I or Paper II ▪️ General / EWS / BC / EBC: ₹960/- ▪️ Candidates from Other States: ₹960/- ▪️ SC / ST / PwD: ₹760/- ◾ For Both Paper I and Paper II ▪️ General / EWS / BC / EBC: ₹1,440/- ▪️ Candidates from Other States: ₹1,440/- ▪️ SC / ST / PwD: ₹1,140/- ◾ Available Payment Methods Applicants can pay the required fee through online payment options such as: Debit Card, Credit Card, Internet Banking, IMPS, Cash Card / Mobile Wallet.
Bihar STET Age Limit 2026
The minimum age required to appear for the Bihar STET 2026 examination is 21 years. The maximum age limit, calculated as of 01 August 2026, is: ◾ Male Candidates: Up to 37 years ◾ Female Candidates (UR) / BC / EBC: Up to 40 years ◾ SC / ST Candidates: Up to 42 years Age relaxation will be provided to eligible candidates according to the rules and regulations prescribed by the Bihar School Examination Board.
Bihar STET 2026 Educational Qualification
The educational qualification depends on the paper selected by the candidate. ◾ Paper I – Secondary Teacher (Class 9 to 10) ▪️ Candidates applying for Bihar STET Paper I should have a Bachelor’s degree in the relevant subject with at least 50% marks, along with a B.Ed. degree. ◾ Paper II – Senior Secondary Teacher (Class 11 to 12) ▪️ For Bihar STET Paper II, candidates generally need a Postgraduate degree in the concerned subject with Second Division along with a B.Ed. qualification. ▪️ The B.Ed. requirement is not applicable to the Computer Science category as specified in the eligibility conditions. ▪️ Candidates belonging to SC, ST, EBC, BC and Divyang categories are eligible for the applicable 5% relaxation in marks as per the prescribed rules.
